A ’Rote Herztomate’ egy német örökségi paradicsomfajta. Több fajta variációval is találkoztam már, az enyém egy orosz gyűjtőtől van és multiflóra, már a 2. generáció óta. Nagyon hasonlít a ’Mimosa’ vagy ’Lehenda Tarasenko’ fajtákra, de azoktól sokkal nagyonn fürtöket hozott.
A termése 100-150 grammos, nem szabályos ökörszív, jellegzetes orral. Az íze erős, édes paradicsomos.
“Rote Herztomate” is a German heirloom tomato variety.
I have come across several variations of it; mine comes from a Russian collector and is multiflora, already in the 2nd generation. It closely resembles the ‘Mimosa’ or ‘Lehenda Tarasenko’ varieties, but produced much larger clusters than those.
The fruits weigh 100–150 grams, are irregular oxheart-shaped with a distinctive pointed tip. The flavor is strong and sweetly tomato-like.
