A Ropreco Paste egy érdekes olasz fajta, ami még a San Marzanotól is régebbi.
Determinált fajta, igen nagy hozammal, egy tő nagyjából 4kg első osztályú termést adott. Nem egyszerre érik!
Brixe 5-5,5 körüli, karakteres savassággal. A húsa igen tömör, nem csak szószokhoz, aszalni is jó.
A növény erős, vastag főszárat hajt, majd egyre gyengülő oldalhajtásain nagy, hosszú fürtöket hoz, magassága 50cm.
Ropreco Paste is an interesting Italian variety, even older than San Marzano.
It is a determinate type with very high yields, one plant produced about 4 kg of first-class fruit. The fruits do not ripen all at once.
Its Brix is around 5–5.5, with a distinctive acidity. The flesh is very dense, making it suitable not only for sauces but also for drying.
The plant is vigorous, developing a thick main stem, then producing increasingly weaker side shoots that carry large, long clusters. Its height is about 50 cm.
