A neve miatt sok fajtát termesztettem, egyik a Quinte, ami egy Kanadai heirloom 1975-ből (Canadian Experimental Farm, Trenton). Nem kell nagy dolgokra gondolni, mégis nagyon megszerettem ezt a fajtát. Extrém korai 75. napra érik. Magassága 50cm, determinált de nem terem le az első 2 hétben, hanem képes 2 hónapig is folyamatosan teremni. A hideget stresszmentesen elviseli, a hidegben előforduló gombabetegségeknek ellenáll. Íze egyszerű paradicsom íz.
Because of its name, I grew several varieties, one of which is Quinte, a Canadian heirloom from 1975 (developed at the Canadian Experimental Farm in Trenton). It’s not a variety to expect great things from, yet I grew very fond of it.
It is extremely early, ripening in about 75 days. The plant reaches 50 cm in height, is determinate, but does not finish producing within the first 2 weeks—it can continue fruiting steadily for up to 2 months.
It tolerates cold without stress and resists fungal diseases that often occur in cooler conditions.
The flavor is a simple, classic tomato taste.
