A Conny’s Multiflower Pear paradicsomfajtát mág 2022-ben kaptam Dániából, sajnos nincs feljegyezve, hogy kitől. Nem tudni ki a nemesítője, de nagyon egyedi fajta, több ponton is a Lycopersicon pimpinellifoliumra hasonlító tulajdonságokat mutat.
Indeterminált, nagyon karcsú, finom növekedésű növény, finom szőrmentes hajtásokkal. A fürtjei extrém méretűek, akár 3-400 termést is hozhat egy fürt. A sok termés a növény növekedését nem fogja vissza, képes 3-4 méter magasra is megnőni.
A termései 1-2 grammosak, pici tojásalakúak és a vadparadicsomokra emlékeztetnek. Az ízük kellemesen savas, roppanós, erős paradicsomízű.
The Conny’s Multiflower Pear tomato variety came to me from Denmark in 2022, though unfortunately I did not record from whom. Its breeder is unknown, but it is a very unique variety, showing several traits reminiscent of Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium.
It is an indeterminate plant with very slender, delicate growth and fine, hairless shoots. The clusters are extremely large, capable of producing as many as 300–400 fruits each. Despite such heavy fruit set, the plant’s growth is not hindered, and it can reach heights of 3–4 meters.
The fruits are tiny, weighing 1–2 grams, egg-shaped, and reminiscent of wild tomatoes. Their flavor is pleasantly acidic, crisp, and strongly tomato-like.
