A Black Bayou paradicsomfajta, Bruno Fournier nemesítése, de nem keverendő a ’Blue Bayou’ fajtával, mert az Tom Wagner fajtája és piros színű, illetve a többi Bayou (sun, moon) fajtával.
Indeterminált fajta, magassága 150cm maximum, nagyon tömör növén, vastag szárral és levelekkel.
A termései 120 grammosak, kerek, sima felületűek. A színe zöld, enyhén okkeres, a héja magas antocianin mennyiséggel rendelkezik. Íze mandulás, fűszeres ízű.
The Black Bayou tomato variety, bred by Bruno Fournier, should not be confused with the ‘Blue Bayou’ variety, which is Tom Wagner’s creation and red in color, nor with the other Bayou types (Sun, Moon).
It is an indeterminate variety, reaching a maximum height of 150 cm, with a very compact plant structure, thick stems, and dense foliage.
The fruits weigh about 120 grams, are round with a smooth surface. Their color is green with a slight ochre hue, and the skin has a high anthocyanin content. The flavor is almond-like with spicy notes.
